74 Coronavirus suspects in Odisha are undergoing treatment, other states on alert

In shocking news, as many as 74 people in Odisha are currently under observation for the coronavirus named COVID-19, an official revealed on Friday.

The coronavirus, which originated in China has by far, spread more than 20 countries across the world ever since it came to be known. The deadly virus has been in the news ever since it affected thousands of people across China. The deadly virus has created a stir across the world after hundreds of people died in China. 

According to the state surveillance system, over 74 people have returned from Coronavirus-affected countries after January 15, 2020. They have been placed under home quarantine and have to go through a coronavirus test.

However, blood and throat swab samples of seven persons were sent to Pune-based virology lab for tests, all tested negative for the virus, the official said. The State Health Control Room, on the other hand, is functioning 24×7 and all queries are being solved by Control Room number 0674-2390466. People are being advised to take all necessary precautions and all the Chief District Medical Officers (CDMOs) have also been advised to take preventive and control measures regarding the coronavirus, the official added.

Since it is a deadly virus, several doctors from different countries are working to find a cure for Coronavirus that can treat the disease. Thailand Scientists, on the other hand, claimed that they have discovered a cure for Coronavirus that can treat the disease in 48 hours. Following this outbreak, the World Health Organization declared the new coronavirus a global emergency after it spread quickly from China to other countries.

By far, the virus has affected over 4000 people and claimed over 1,300 lives in China. Unfortunately, for now, there is no vaccination or cure available to help patients recover the deadly disease. So it is advised to take all possible precautions. Avoid the area where coronavirus infection has been reported. Make sure that you keep yourself away from those who have coronavirus symptoms.
