India scripts History, PM Modi beats all world leaders in approval rating during Covid-19 lockdown

The prestigious International Polling organisation, ‘Morning Consult’, has released its survey on the world leaders in terms of handling the coronavirus pandemic. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been ranked top amongst world leaders in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

PM Narendra Modi’s leadership skills have never been in doubt. Today, The entire world is praising him for effective decisions taken on Coronavirus. According to a survey conducted in America, PM Modi holds the highest approval rating as a politician, amid a selection of other world leaders.

It is a proud moment for every Indian that the approval rating for PM Modi has risen to 82% from 74%. The survey depicts that 74 % of Indians approved their ratings for PM Modi before the coronavirus crisis. Today, Modi’s approval rating has improved to 82%, making him the number 1 leader across the world in the fight against the pandemic.

The world leaders who improved their ratings during the coronavirus crisis were Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s approval rating had increased when he was being treated for coronavirus in April. But it decreased to 55 per cent in May, amid increasing Covid-19 deaths in the country.

What’s surprising is that despite US saw the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths, Trump’s approval ratings have remained steady throughout the pandemic.

Ever since PM Narendra Modi took charge at the head of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014, the vision of India has been changed and the world’s perception towards India is also changing. Today, India’s recovery rate of coronavirus patients has improved to 41.6% — the highest so far. According to the latest figure, 71,106 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovery so far.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has crossed 1.65 lakh. The death toll in India increased to 4,633. India’s mortality rate stood at nearly 3%, one of the lowest in the world.

It should be noticed that the country has so far reported a healthy recovery rate and low death rate compared to the other countries in the world.

The Modi government is making all necessary efforts to prevent the spread of fast-spreading disease. Recently, Prime Minister Modi announced a massive package of 20 Lakh crores to make India self-reliant. 

Addressing the nation on Coronavirus pandemic, PM spoke about being self-reliant in the 21st century and the COVID-19 crisis must be turned into an opportunity. In his address, PM Modi insisted on promoting indigenous products to make the country self-reliant. Mr. Modi has been trying to change the atmosphere around India. He wants India to become self-reliant.
