MP: Congress MLA candidate being hit by Fakir Baba with slippers, video goes viral

Elections will start in Madhya Pradesh and before the elections, videos of some Congress leaders are going viral. One of them is a Congress candidate from Ratlam City Assembly, Paras Saklecha. His video is trending a lot on social media, in which he is standing in front of Fakir Baba and eating slippers from him. Paras is the same Congress leader who called Sadhvi Pragya a witch in 2019. Leaders can go to any extent to get votes. There is no better proof than this video.

In the video, Fakir Baba can be observed he slaps to Paras Saklecha, alternating between his back, shoulder, and face. Notably, he doesn’t cease after a single strike; the video captures his relentless use of slippers. Despite a plea from someone off-camera to stop, Fakir Baba persists. Meanwhile, Congress leaders are seen laughing and respectfully touching Fakir Baba’s feet.

According to media reports, the person who slapped the Congress leader is a fakir named Kamal Raza. He wanders along the Mhow Neemuch Road, bestowing blessings upon those who approach him through a unique ritual of gently tapping them with slippers. Numerous individuals come bearing new slippers along with their grievances, seeking Kamal Raza’s unconventional blessings through this symbolic act.

Many people, including Congress leaders, believe that the complainants to whom Kamal Raza gave such prayers had success in their lives. Having entered the electoral fray this time, Paras Saklecha has tried this tactic as well.

After watching this video, social media users have made fun of the Congress leader. It has been said that Congress is the only political party worthy of wearing slippers, while others say with a pinch that Baba has blessed everyone. People also shared their reactions to it.

One user writes, “Rahul ji should also take blessings from here, and then let’s see who stops him from becoming PM.”

Another writes, “Congress tries to show itself as progressive and also promotes superstition. The names of such candidates should be removed from the list.”

Another user writes, “Brother, elections are all about slippers and shoes. Now leaders can eat, but why should people choose a leader who eats slippers and shoes for votes and whose self-respect is not alive?”
