Exclusive: Love Jihad for Halala? An eye opening story of a Kanpur’s daughter who suffered the pain

It is no secret that some youths from the Muslim community are involved in the heinous practice of Love Jihad, an alleged effort made by them only to target beautiful and rich women belonging to non-Muslim communities for religious conversion to Islam by ‘fake love’.

This infamous concept first came to light in India in the year 2009 with alleged conversions in Kerala and Karnataka. Slowly, it started to spread across all states of India.

Now, ZEE NEWS has brought the biggest story of Love Jihad’s cruelty for those who defend the plot of Love Jihad and term the truth of Love Jihad a lie. You would never have thought that the Hindu daughter could be used for halala after love jihad.

This is the story of the daughter of Kanpur who became a victim of Love Jihad. A story that you might have not heard till date. A story of love jihad where a man named Sahil Ali posed as Sachin Sharma and trapped a Hindu girl in Love Jihad.

This Hindu daughter of Kanpur is one of the 11 victims of Love Jihad. The accused wore a Kalawa (Hindu sacred thread) around his wrist, sported a Tilak and frequently visited temples to fool the Hindu girl.

This victim told ZEE NEWS that Sahil Ali, who lives in Kanpur, met her about 2 years ago. Sahil concealed his identity to lure her to convert her religion to Islam. Sahil told her his name Sachin Sharma and took her to the temple and assured her that he is a Hindu and then fraudulently took her to Noida.

The victim told ZEE NEWS that when the man’s Muslim identity was revealed, he started torturing her. Sahil beat her up and pressurised her to convert to Islam. He also forced her to consume beef, which is a sin according to Hindu customs and pressurised her to engage in sexual activities with a cleric.

When the victim became pregnant, he put pressure on her to have an abortion, but when it was found out that the victim has a daughter in the womb, then it was said that the daughter will be useful for them. The victim asked for help from her family but the family refused to help her because she willingly left her house, went with the accused and married him.

Only his grandmother helped the victim to return home. The victim returned to her grandmother’s house in Kanpur but Sahil did not stop following her. He continued to threaten her that he would kill her newborn daughter and make her video viral. After these threats, the victim started living with Sahil’s family in Kanpur, but family also forced her to convert to Islam.

The victim somehow managed to escape from Sahil’s family. One day, Sahil called her to meet and attacked her with a knife. People immediately took her to hospital and she survived. Later, an FIR was lodged against Sahil on the complaint of the victim.
