He completed his graduation in Electronics and Communication engineering from Jaipur and MBA in Sales and Marketing from ITM Ghaziabad. He was an average student but he had a passion to do something in his life and his dedication pushed him to become an entrepreneur.

After his graduation, he decided to start his own business. He wanted to do something different from others. He along with Dinesh Pratap Singh, Virendra Ranawat, and VikasBaheti decided to start an online custom-made furniture store which was later named Wooden Street.

“The biggest challenge was setting up a supply chain for heavy furniture pieces, so that they can be delivered to various points across the nation, without any damage, and this required a lot of effort. But we worked hard and overcame all hurdles; the rest was a smooth sail,” says co-founder Mr. Lokendra Ranawat.

Wooden Street provides an easy way for customers with 2,500 designs to not only buy furniture, but also customize it to their liking. Apart from online, Wooden Street has four stores in Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, and Jaipur.

It aims to open ten more stores across the country in the next 12 months. Ranawat started the business with only 10 employees, later the number of employees increased to 125, that too within 18 months only.
