The novel coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China, is bent upon killing human beings, eliminating them. It is neither restricted to a nation nor a region or particular weather. It has put the entire world in a lockdown. Many companies have started moving their production units from China. As per a report, German footwear brand Von Wellx is also planning to shift its entire production from China to Agra, India.

The announcement was made by Casa Everz Gmbh, the owner of the footwear German brand Von Wellx. The production will now commence at Agra in Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with Iatric Industries Pvt Ltd. The brand is said to have over 100 million customers across the globe.

The company made a huge announcement that It will stop production in China but will start in India, which seems to be an impetus from PM Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’, which will give a major boost to Union Government Campaign ‘Make In India’.

“We are very happy to see that investment from Casa Everz Gmbh, which will be giving employment to so many people, is coming to India from China and especially to Uttar Pradesh,” said state Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Uday Bahan Singh.

The move comes after the Indian government urged countrymen to promote indigenous products to make the country self-reliant. The government has announced a new production-linked incentives (PLI) scheme to encourage local production in the country.

More than 10,000 jobs will be created in Uttar Pradesh with the help of this move which will ultimately reduce the unemployment problem from the state. It is indeed a massive victory for UP to win this contract.

Mr. Ashish Jain, Director and CEO of Iatric Industries, said the collaboration will help create over 10,000 direct and indirect jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The decision was taken in the wake of the government’s plan to bring in foreign companies into India.

The world now believes that India can do very well and that we can contribute greatly towards the welfare of mankind.
