Corona cases again start to grow in China, Nearly 100 new cases reported in one day

Coronavirus has been in the news for months because the virus has affected lakhs of people across the world and claimed over 1 lakh lives so far. According to WHO, The deadly virus was first detected in Wuhan which is the epicentre of the virus in China. Since then, the dangerous virus has spread quickly from cities to cities and then throughout the globe. 

In China, 99 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest in a day in recent few weeks. Health officials stated on Saturday that there were 63 cases that did not show symptoms, after which the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country has increased to 82,052.

According to China’s National Health Commission, the Chinese mainland reported a total of 1,280 imported cases as of Saturday. Of them, 481 have been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 799 are being treated with 37 in severe condition.

The NHC said that the overall confirmed cases in the country reached 81,953 by Friday, including 1,089 patients who are still undergoing treatment, 77,525 people discharged after recovery, and 3,339 people have died of the disease, it said. A total of 46 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported on Friday, of which 42 were imported, it added.

Once again coronavirus cases have been reported in China after over two months of battle against the coronavirus pandemic. President Xi Jinping on Friday called for tighter supervision of safety measures at workplaces. Xi asked officials to strengthen monitoring and law enforcement to avoid an epidemic situation in the country.

The speed at which Coronavirus is spreading across the world, it seems this virus has no end. COVID-19 is not showing any sign of halting. It has spread in over 160 countries all over the world so far.
