Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan was not on speaking terms with Rishi Kapoor. Bollywood is a small industry where celebrities turn foes from friends and also mend their relations within years.

Sometimes they work together for years while sometimes it takes years to see them. The same goes with Bollywood’s two great actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. There were days when these two actors worked together in almost every other film. However, a storm came in their life and they stopped doing films together. As a result, the number of films that they did together decreased with passing time. but over time, they again came close and became once again good friends and they were seen together in ‘102 Not Out’ film after 27 years.

Rishi Kapoor had disclosed many things about their friendship. The actor said, “I must admit that in those days there was an unspoken undercurrent of tension between Amitabh Bachchan and me. We never sat down to sort it out and luckily the strain evaporated on its own. It was only after we did Amar Akbar Anthony that the two of us got friendly with each other”.

Amitabh is undeniably a superb actor, immensely talented and, at the time, the number one star who ruled the box-office. He was an action hero, the angry young man. So roles were written for him,” he added.

The actor was last seen in the web series The Body on Netflix. In fact, he had also shot for a film in Delhi earlier this year.

Rishi Kapoor who is the son of Raj Kapoor, hogged the limelight in the Indian cinema with his first film Mera Naam Joker, in which he played the role of a child artiste. The actor impressed everyone with his acting skills and for which he had received a National Award for Mera Naam Joker.

In the year 1973, Rishi Kapoor made his film debut as an adult with Bobby, opposite Dimple Kapadia. The first movie made Kapoor an overnight star

It should be noted that the actor’s last Bollywood film was the 2018 film 102 Not Out alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
