Several celebrities, who were doing well in their careers and enjoying mega stardom, have left the industry. These celebrities have stunned their loyal fans with their decision.

1. Sana Khan:

Recently, Former Bigg Boss contestant and television actress Sana Khan announced her decision to quit the entertainment industry citing religious reasons. She took to the Instagram platform and shared that she is bidding adieu to the showbiz industry. She also expressed her interest to serve humanity. Taking to photo-blogging Instagram platform, she wrote: ‘serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator.’

2. Zaira Wasim:

Zaira Wasim announced her bold decision to quit acting field, saying she was not at all pleased with her acting profession as it interfered with her faith and religion. Zaira started her career in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’. The National Award-winning actor said that she has completed five years in the profession and she wanted to “confess that I am not truly happy with this identity i.e my line of work”.

Wasim had shared a long note on social media and a part of it read, “This field indeed brought a lot of love, support and applause my way, but what it also did was to lead me to a path of ignorance, as I silently and unconsciously transitioned out of ‘imaan’,” she said, referring to her faith. “While I continued to work in an environment that consistently interfered with my ‘imaan’, my relationship with my religion was threatened.”

3. Barkha Madan:

Model and actress Barkha Madan had made her debut in 1996 alongside Akshay Kumar and Rekha in ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’. She has also worked in the television industry and was a popular face back then. Later, she became a Buddhist nun and also changed her name to Gyalten Samten.

4. Anu Aggarwal:

Actress Anu Aggarwal had made her debut with the hit film ‘Aashiqui’ in 1990. Later, she decided to quit her career and joined an ashram in Uttarakhand. After she survived a life taking car accident, she took sanyas. She usually puts up a lot of pictures on her Instagram handle where she is seen doing yoga.

5. Sofia Hayat:

Model-actress Sofia Hayat, who was a contestant on Bigg Boss 7 in 2013, had also decided to leave this industry to become a spiritual nun. She changed her name from Sofia Hayat to Gaia Mother Sofia.
