In yet another shocking incident, a teenaged girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youths in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh multiple times. The girl was blackmailed and gang-raped repeatedly by three teens who had befriended her through now banned game PUBG. The accused allegedly called the girl on some pretext and they gang-raped her.

The incident came to the fore on Wednesday when the girl told her mother about the incident and she (mother) went to the police station to lodge a complaint. The survivor is a resident of Ashoka Garden area. The accused were identified as Fuzail, Rizwan Khan and Farhan Ahmed.

It has been learnt that the 14-year-old girl was fond of now-banned PUBG game. She used to play on her smartphone and amid the lockdown, she found three youths on the game. The three boys started playing the game with the girl and they became friends. With time, they became familiar with each other and started chatting and speaking over the phone.

In September, the accused took the girl to a flat in Rambha Nagar in Gautam Nagar where they allegedly gang-raped her and filmed a video of the incident. The accused allegedly used the video to blackmail the teenaged girl for around a month, The Times of India reported.

The girl did not tell her family as she feared the consequences. However, on Wednesday, she told her mother about the incident when she counselled her. The girl’s mother approached the Ashoka Garden police where an FIR against the three accused was registered.

The police tracked the accused through their phone numbers and arrested them. The accused confessed to the crime during interrogation.
