Vinay Dubey- the villain who gathered massive crowd in Mumbai’s Bandra, has strong connection with Sahin Bagh

Hordes of people thronged the Bandra station after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an extension of the current lockdown till May 3.

Vinay Dubey, a native of Uttar Pradesh, serves as president of an organisation called the Uttar Bharatiya Mahapanchayat. He has been accused of inciting people to gather at Mumbai’s Bandra West railway station to protest.

It has been revealed that Vinay Dubey has a strong connection with Shaheen Bagh as well and now he is said to be the mastermind of Mumbai chaos. Shaheen Bagh was the main cause of the Delhi riots in which an officer of the Intelligence Bureau was killed by a mob of anti- CAA protesters. The violence in northeast Delhi over the amended citizenship act killed several people.

Hundreds of women were staging dharna against the Citizenship Amendment Act for over 2 months. For over two months, thousands of protesters, led by hijab and burqa-clad Muslim women, had blocked the main road near Shaheen Bagh. They came out on the road to protest against the new law which has nothing to do with Indian citizens.

However, Vinay has been arrested by the police for allegedly invoking people for protest. He will remain in police custody until 21 April. Shutdown has created a stir in Mumbai. Protests by people in Mumbai cause chaos. They have blocked roads and stations, the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon around 3 pm, police said.

The government is trying its best to provide rudimentary facilities, but hordes of people gathered at the station are protesting against the government and administrations, which led to a clash between protesters and police.

In the photo, Bandra station can be seen flooded with a huge crowd gathered. The police requested everyone to go back to their home, but the mob turned down the request.

While speaking to the media, one person from the mob said, there is no shortage of food for us in the city, but we are fed up of eating veg pulao for a long time, so we want to eat a wide variety of foods. On this, a media person said that no one is getting a variety of foods in this hard time, and you are demanding a different kind of dishes.

There are thousands of people who are not even getting two-time meals during the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, which has disturbed the entire world. The government has ensured that no one would go hungry, but these people are protesting just for biryani.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said in a tweet, “I have ordered an investigation into the rumour that claimed trains will take migrants back home. Those found guilty of sparking such rumours will be dealt with severely.”
