Former Congress leader joins BJP, says Sonia has no sense of Indian culture

Former Union minister and Congress leader named S Krishna Kumar joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday. Soon after joining the party, he launched a scathing attack at Congress. He said he was against the leadership of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi.

S Krishna Kumar went to accuse Sonia Gandhi of disrespecting former PM Narsimha Rao.

He also alleged that the Congress leadership “disrespected” Narasimha Rao and that his ashes were not permitted to “even be kept at the Congress headquarters”.

“Sonia Gandhi has no idea of Indian heritage and culture,” Krishna Kumar added, clearly explaining why he quit the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

S Krishna Kumar worked as a Union minister in Rajiv Gandhi and Narsimha Rao’s governments.

Krishna Kumar said, adding that he decided to “devote” rest of his whole life “as a soldier of Narendra Modi”. “I believe people of India should give Narendra Modi a mandate for the next 10 years,” he added in a statement.

The former Union Minister Krishna Kumar is the second Congress leader to quit Congress in the last 2 days. On Friday, Priyanka Chaturvedi, the party’s spokesperson left Congress only to join Shiv Sena. She also expressed her distress with the Congress leadership in acting against a party leader who had misbehaved with her.
