Rinku Singh’s father still sells gas cylinders door to door: viral video

A video featuring the father of star cricketer Rinku Singh has gone viral on social media, showing him delivering gas cylinders door-to-door. The video has sparked considerable attention and discussion across various platforms. Rinku Singh has now joined the famous names of Indian cricket. But Rinku’s father never changed his longing for a prosperous life, without losing his dreams. Even today he is engaged in the work of cylinder delivery and is doing it with respect and pride.

Fans are paying tribute to Rinku Singh’s father after viewing a recent video. Just a few months back, Rinku disclosed that her father continues to engage in the same traditional work even to this day. Even today he delivers LPG gas jars to every home. Rinku told her father to “take rest now but he still does it and loves his work,” the cricketer said, adding, “If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to ask him to stop. Unless he wants to.”

Rinku Singh was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. KKR has retained him for IPL 2024 for Rs 55 lakh. Acquired by KKR in 2018 for Rs 80 lakh, despite a lackluster debut season, Rinku consistently garnered trust from the team management owing to his potential. This trust paid off handsomely during the 2023 IPL season as Rinku’s aggressive batting style proved instrumental in clinching victories for Kolkata.

Recently, former South African captain AB de Villiers praised Rinku and said that this batsman is a match-winner. He is a fantastic player and it is great to see him continue to perform well. Rinku consistently demonstrates the mindset of a determined player who always strives to win the game.

After watching the viral video, users have shared many reactions. A user writes, ‘Problem with society is that they see person in terms of Rich/poor and work in terms of Small / Big. A cylinder distributor is a small work, while nothing is small or big. Rinku’s father might not like sitting easy at home.

Another user writes, ‘This is his foundation and will keep him in better physical and mental health. It’s difficult to halt his actions if he lacks the desire to do so, regardless of his wealth.’

Another user writes, ‘Never forget the roots! Be humble!’
