Shameful, man chained and kept as slave allegedly by Sikh men in Punjab

A distressing video is gaining widespread attention on social media, depicting a harrowing situation in Punjab. In the footage, a Dalit man appears to have been abducted and subjected to years of enslavement. Despite India having achieved independence several years ago, it is disheartening to witness instances where individuals, unaware of their freedom, continue to endure lives of oppression.

According to the viral video, some Dalit Sikhs reach the house where this Dalit man was kidnapped and he was forcibly made to do all the household work like a slave. The Dalit man was kept tied peacefully. His condition was very bad. He was imprisoned in this house for 10 years and was living like a slave. But at last the Dalit Sikh came and took the first step in liberating him from his imprisoned life.

The Sikh people ask the old man why he did this, why the man has been kidnapped and is being kept tied like an animal. First, the old man flatly refuses to accept this allegation, then the Dalit Sikh people scare him by looking at the CCTV cameras installed there, due to which the old man accepts it. He says that out of fear that the Dalit boy might run away from home, he keeps him tied tightly.

The viral video has been viewed by 1 lakh people so far. Different types of reactions are coming out from all the people. One user writes, “It appears that the perpetrators are a Sikh family and the victim a Hindu. Just imagine the outrage Khalistanis would have caused had the situation been the opposite.”

Another user writes, “Shame. For 10 years, no one in the village or family complained. Everyone is blind or they don’t bother as he is not Punjabi???”

Another user writes, “This is so inhuman, how can someone be so cruel to treat a fellow human like this? He even forgot to speak.”

Another user writes, “It’s a common practice in Punjab village especially jat sikhs do it”.
