Bihar: Villagers steal 3km road which was under construction

You must have heard many cases of theft but a new case has come to light on social media which is very strange. Road construction work was in progress in a village in Bihar, but the people of that village stole all the material for road construction due to which the road construction stopped midway. Someone made a video of this matter and uploaded it on social media.

This case is from Jehanabad, Bihar. According to the information, a 3-kilometer road was being constructed here under the Mukhyamantri Sadak Gram Yojana. But due to theft of material, the road could not be completed. It is being told that RJD MLA Satish Kumar Das had started the work three months ago, but the work could not be completed because whenever the road construction work starts, some local people loot the material.

Would have cleared the entire road. A 3 km long road is to be built in the village. Most of the work in the 3 KM stretch was done, only PCC work was to be done near the village, but the villagers forcibly took away the PCC material for personal use. It is clearly visible in the viral video that the women and children of the village are carrying away the material. During this time someone made a video and made it viral on social media.

This is a very strange case, the local administration official said that such incidents always happen with the material required for road construction, and it is a shocking case. Those who disrupt road construction work may have to face severe punishment. And this should also happen, the local administration should take immediate steps.

The viral video has been seen by many people and different types of reactions are coming out from all the people. One user commented, “With developing infrastructure, we need to develop the thinking of our people..”

Others write, “People aren’t responsible, the poverty in Bihar is a real problem.”

Another user writes, “The reason behind this is Bihar & people of Bihar never got right attention and service.”
