  • Kamal Haasan and Sarika

One of the main reasons why Kamal Hasan’s marriage to Vani didn’t work out was because of Kamal Haasan love interest, Sarika, a Gujarati Actress. Kamal moved out, only to be in a live-in relationship with Sarika who surprisingly gave birth to their first daughter, Shruti Haasan in 1986 while Kamal was still married.

Kamal finally divorced his former wife Vani in 1988 to marry Sarika. Sarika gave birth to another daughter, Akshara Haasan, in 1991. They divorced after sixteen long years of marriage, probably because of the same reasons, that is, Kamal being unfaithful on many occasions.
