In recent news, BJP party president Amit Shah met industrialist Ratan Tata in Mumbai at the latter’s residence on Wednesday as part of his Sampark for Samarthan (contact for support) outreach. Amit Shah further presented Ratan Tata with pamhplet regarding PM Modi government’s accomplishments.
Right from the nation’s progress to the developments under the BJP government in the past four years, everything was taken note. Even Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other senior BJP leaders of the state marked their valuable presence at Ratan Tata’s residence.
The important campaign, ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ (contact for support) is a huge public drive, was inaugurated by Amit Shah to gain the much-needed support for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
The target for BJP leaders suggests to meet over one lakh distinguished personalities who are well recognised in their respective fields and have an influence in the society. It is learnt that Amit Shah alone had planned to meet around 50 personalities.
It is learnt that Amit Shah had already met Baba Ramdev, former CJI Ramesh Chandra Lahoti and former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. Earlier, he also met actress Madhuri Dixit in the latter’s residence in Mumbai. He was also planned to meet singer Lata Mangeshkar, but it was not possible because Lata’s latter had fallen sick. However, Amit Shah said he would be returning back to the city to visit the iconic singer.

BJP’s Chief Ministers, Union Ministers and senior ministers will soon be meeting several personalities who have influence on the society and then will be talking to them about the four years of steps in the PM Modi’s reign.
