Taking other’s objects or property without their permission is called ‘Stealing’. In today’s world, we are hearing a lot of stories that a thief stole gold, money, bike, phone etc. But get ready to read a whole new story now.

A taxi driver proved that he is a man of integrity. He has done something great, which others should take note of. He set an example of honesty by returning Rs.10 lakh that was left behind by a customer and won people’s hearts.

“Tariq, driver by profession, found a bag with cash and jewellery worth around ₹ 10 lacs and 3 high end mobile phones at Aharbal. He waited for a call on these phones, made sure it is returned to its owner and didn’t accept anything in return. Shopian people with a heart of gold,” a tweet read.

People leaving their wallets, mobile phones, other important things and coming back later to collect them is quite common.

Apparently, Tariq came across a bag full of jewellery worth more than Rs 10 lakhs and after that, he came across three expensive mobile phones at Aharbal, Kashmir.

When the owner realised that he made a big blunder by forgetting all the expensive items, he tried calling one of the phones and it was Tariq’s turn to show who he actually is.

After when he spotted expensive items, he didn’t do what everyone probably imagined he would.

He took the call and learnt about the owner and honestly returned all their items. As per the tweet, he did not accept anything in return.
