Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ movie is in the spotlight nowadays. Ever since Priyanka Chopra quit the project all of her sudden, there has been a buzz about who is going to replace her in one of the most-awaited film of 2019. A sensational development has crept in and now we know the actress who will be playing the role alongside Salman Khan. She is none other than Katrina Kaif.
She is expected to get into the groove as the female lead in the movie. PTI quotes director Ali Abbas Zafar saying in a statement, “I am extremely excited to work with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan once again for Bharat. We have had exciting collaborations in the past and it is very interesting to work with the duo once again. Katrina got on board in the Nick of time for the project and it is very delightful to work with the immensely talented actress yet again.”
It is cognisance of the fact that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were last seen together in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The movie became a sensational hit and Salman and Katrina’s acting was admired by the audience.
It was the director Ali who had confirmed the news of Priyanka’s exit from the movie through Twitter. The director’s tweet gave us a hint about Priyanka’s marriage with Nick Jonas. Ali wrote, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of Bharat the film and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her. Team Bharat wishes Priyanka Chopra loads of love and happiness for life.”
