Dr Ranganatha says Neha Dhupia was the last Delhi model, she quickly pings him

Neha Dhupia, the former Miss India and Bollywood actress entered the industry against her parents’ wishes. She claimed in an interview that after she went to Mumbai, her father arranged her return flight to her hometown.

Her parents had long wished for her to join the IAS. However, she became a Bollywood actress. Neha Dhupia is also a model who works primarily in Bollywood and some Punjabi, Tollywood and Mollywood movies.

For the unversed, she has won the Femina Miss India 2002 pageant. Notably, she was among the top 10 finalists in Miss Universe in 2002. Notably, she has also been one of the leaders of MTV Roadies since Season 14. She has also completed two decades in entertainment industry

Meanwhile, Neha Dhupia hogged the limelight after her name was mentioned in a recent exit poll debate. The video clip that went viral on the internet sees one of the panelists labelling the actress the ‘last Delhi model’ to have worked with.

The video clip starts with the anchor saying, “Dr Raman, maybe the Delhi model is not finding traction beyond Delhi.”

Responding to the same, the author and scientist Anand Ranganathan, who is one of the panellists on the discussion, asked “But what is this Delhi model? Neha Dhupia was the last Delhi model to have worked!”

His response went viral on the internet and it left the co-panellists and the actress Neha Dhupia in stitches. The actress took to Twitter and wrote, “hahaha thank you sir !”

Meanwhile, Neha Dhupia opened up about her work in an interview with Indian Express. “I still want to work as hard but I also have to look after everything that’s happening at home. There are times I am accelerating a lot.

“Times, when I lose sleep due to a lot of work and there, are also times when I lose sleep due to the lack of work. It is a tricky business. The sooner you understand, make amends, respect every job that comes your way and work hard, that’s when you start enjoying it,” she added.
