Among the number of replies to Mr Mahindra’s post, a person highlighted American automaker Tesla’s plan to enter the Indian market that has been shelved owing to policy issues with the government.

Another person wrote, “We don’t need Tesla. India have plenty of good players who can make better cars than Tesla.”

Not long ago, a Twitter user asked Anand Mahindra his age. To which, he said,  “Mr. Anand mahindra ji, how old are you?” To which, Anand Mahindra came up with a witty reply. He wrote, “You could have found out via google, so I suppose this is a philosophical question.”

“In that spirit, my answer is that “Age (like beauty) lies in the eyes of the beholder.” So I am only as old as YOU think I am…,” Anand Mahindra said. His reply spread like wildfire across all social media portals.
