Indian Idol refuse to give resignation to Bihar’s daughter Maithili, she became Star singing Bhakti Songs

Maithili Thakur! Whom you may have seen singing with her two brothers in different languages on social media. The 20-year-old girl has become so famous in one year that today she is known for her singing throughout the country.

Her talent can be gauged by the fact that she is a versatile singer, she can be seen singing songs in many different languages. She sings Bhajans, Indian classical, Ghazal, Pop, Folk, Romantic songs, etc.

She has a strong command over classical music. She has the magic to her voice, making any complicated songs easy. Maithili Thakur was once rejected in Indian Idol for her poor voice, but today she needs no introduction. She has got a good personality and well recognized artist in India. She has a mesmerizing voice that makes the audience spellbound to hear her. Nobody can stop her from ruling in many hearts.

“We wanted people to listen to the beautiful world of Bhojpuri folk, that’s melodious and has wonderful lyrics. Ye theth Bhojpuri hai. Ise sunna bhi zaroori hai (this is typical Bhojpuri, listening to it is also necessary),” says Maithili.

Maithili was born on 25 July 2000 in Madhubani, Bihar. She started learning music at the age of 3 from Grandfather (Shree Shobha Sindhu Thakur) in Bihar. She moved to Delhi and started learning Classical Music at the age of 6 from Father (Shree Ramesh Thakur). She started uploading videos on Social media along with her brothers Rishav Thakur, 16 years (Plays Tabla) and Ayachi Thakur, 12 years (Sings) which went viral.

She has risen to fame at a very young age. This name has won billions of hearts over the globe in no time. Her simplicity and devotion to Indian tradition are driving her fans crazy. She mesmerized everyone with her soulful voice.

She was rejected in Sa Re Ga Ma Lil Champ auditions in 2011. She got rejected 6 times before she could appear in Rising star. It is her devotion towards work that she reached heights in her career. Bihar has never been devoid of talent and this young, beautiful Diva with dimple on her cheeks is perfect example.

Maithili’s father Ramesh Thakur used to teach music in a school and gave home tuitions as well. “We could only afford one-room houses and they were mostly attached to someone else’s house. My husband’s riyaaz and that of my children would disturb people and we’d have to leave. These kids were never naughty or troubled anyone but we kept moving so that they could practice peacefully,” says Bharti Thakur, their mother.

After earning through the concerts, the family has bought a one BHK apartment in Dwarka, and has soundproofed it a bit. The three have also received phone calls from the offices of Yash Chopra and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions with offers of recording for them.
