India and Ethiopia create world record, plant 416 million trees in just 12 hours

Human beings are one of the reasons why Earth is experiencing a massive change. At one end, man is reaping benefits with the technology, natural resources- and at the other end- he is becoming lethargic and stupid day by day. God created everything we are surrounded by.

But the humans are taking the world in a wrong way barring little positives. One shouldn’t destroy mother nature in order to gain their needs and wants. The humans might be getting everything that they need but the reality is that they will certainly be punished by nature itself- if they don’t mind what they blindly doing to the environment.

Trees are the best living creatures on the planet because it gives the necessary oxygen to the humans, animals and other living species. To emphasize the importance of trees, in particular, they are selfless creatures that don’t ask anything in return barring the plethora supply of water.

With a steady decline of trees due to the infamous deforestation activities, the planet is losing its core part of trees. Without trees, life on earth is unimaginable and planting trees should be our main motive.

It must be noted that more than 20% of the world oxygen is produced in the Amazon Rainforest. One of the substantial elements for human beings to survive is ‘Oxygen’. We have cut trees, cleared the forest and made buildings and roads- as a consequence, our planet is going through Global Warming. There is a fall in oxygen and a rise in CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere. Clearly we cannot afford to lose this forest as most of the oxygen come therefrom.

Thanks to the trees that give us oxygen when they use energy from sunlight to make glucose from carbon dioxide and water. On the dark side, humans do deforestation to lead a luxurious life overlooking the laws of nature. This indeed poses a severe threat to the chances of survival of all living organism on earth. Because of this, the food chain gets affected and thereby we might have to face the end of the world- a total carnage.

In an attempt to reforest the desert, Ethiopia planted 5 times as many trees as India did when it broke the world record two years ago. Ethiopia has beat every record by planting 350 million trees in 12 hours in July 29, 2019 (Monday).

On the other hand, the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh created a massive record in India after 1.5 million volunteers planted more than 66 million tree saplings within half a day along the Narmada river in July 2017.

The effort bettered the state of Uttar Pradesh’s previous record-breaking feat when 800,000 volunteers planted 50 million trees in one day in July 2016.
