Upset over Modi’s decision to ban TikTok, 18yr old Indian girl kills self

In yet another heart-wrenching incident, a TikTok young girl has committed suicide on July 5 in New Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Sandhya Chauhan, who was a student at Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi.

The country is already going through the shock-wave after Sushant Singh Rajput and TikTok star Siya Kakkar’s death. The death of an 18-year-old TikTok star has now left everyone in shock.

This news came weeks after sixteen-year-old Siya Kakkar was found dead at her home. Although, the cause of suicide has not been confirmed yet, according to a report. According to reports, Police did not recover any suicide note her room.

It is speculated that Sandhya took the drastic step following the Indian government banned TikTok and 59 other Chinese apps. The government has blocked 59 apps for safety, security, defence, sovereignty and integrity of India.

Sandhaya’s mother was reportedly at home when she ended her life by hanging from the ceiling. As soon as the police got the information about the incident, they rushed to the spot and took her body to the SDS Global Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the matter. Police have also seized Sandya Chahuhan’s phone to investigate the matter further.

It is being told that she was going through mental bouts of depression, as a result of which, she took this drastic step. Earlier, TikTok star Siya Kakkar committed suicide on June 25 in New Delhi. The news of her death was confirmed by her manager Arjun Sarin, who managed all her work and endorsements. Siya Kakkar is a social media influencer who had over 1 million followers on TikTok and more than 1 lakh followers on Instagram.
