Kama Sutra actress Indira Varma infected with COVID-19, says stay safe and healthy

Amid the worldwide panic over the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Kama Sutra fame actress Indira Varma has been tested positive for COVID-19. It came to be known a couple of days after her former co-star Kristofer Hivju tested positive for coronavirus.

Hollywood actress Indira recently had tested positive for coronavirus. Game of Thrones star Indira Varma herself confirmed this news on social media sites- Instagram as she said, “So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone affected by the Covid-19– Coronavirus. I am in bed with it. Stay safe and healthy.”

The Indian origin actress Indira Varma played the role of Ellaria sand in Games of Thrones. Indira Varma’ debut film was bold drama Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love. Indira Varma has played significant role in several series like The Canterbury Tales, Luther, Rome, Human Target and ITV/Netflix series Paranoid.

The entire world is in a state of shock after the novel coronavirus pandemic impacted lakhs of people’s lives. By far, more than 11,000 people have passed away linked to coronavirus and over 2.7 lakh people have been affected by the virus infection. Thankfully, over 85,000 people have recovered from the deadly outbreak.

It has been learnt that the coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of at least 4,000 people in China alone and more than 7,000 worldwide, as per the experts.

In India alone, the confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have surpassed 300, while 5 people have died in the country from the infection.

India is making all necessary efforts to prevent the fast-spreading disease. The entry of all international flights to India will be banned from March 22 to March 29. No international flights will be able to land in India from the effective date.
