Yuvraj Singh pledged to support the treatment of 25 children suffering from cancer

Many more happy returns of the day, Yuvraj Singh! He turns 37 today! He is a sixer king, sheer entertainer and above all a true fighter. Cricket fans will forever remember his fruitful contributions to the Indian cricket.

He carved out a reputation for himself as a genuine all-rounder and has certainly lived up to fans’ expectations for a long period of time. He was named the man of the series in the 2011 ODI World Cup. He represented India in 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is.

Currently, he is not part of the side. Well, that won’t be an issue for him as he knows the better way of making a classic comeback to the Indian cricket team. He will always be remembered for his superb comeback to international cricket in 2012 after being diagnosed with lung cancer the previous year.

Yuvraj Singh has essayed 1900 runs in Tests, 8,701 runs in ODIs and 1177 runs in the truncated version of the game. Yuvi still holds the record of fastest fifty in T20Is off 12 balls, wherein he smashes six sixes off England’s Stuart Broad’s bowling.

On behalf of his birthday, Yuvraj Singh took to his official Twitter platform to say, “Today, on my birthday, I pledge to support the treatment of 25 children suffering from cancer, through my foundation YouWeCan.”

His fashion brand ‘YouWeCan’, has helped hundreds of cancer patients fight their pain. Along with this, he also owns a sports-based e-commerce store sports365.in and also investments in Vyomo, Moovo, Black With Orange, Cartisan, Heathians, Educart and Sportybeans. As per the report published by finapp.com, Yuvi’s current net worth is at $22 million.
