Actor Vishal adopts an entire village hit by Cyclone ‘Gaja’, pledged to restore it

There is no hiding to the fact that our country is obsessed with movies these days. Off the cinema field, the actors have done and have been doing good for the society by doing their bit when people find themselves in tough situations.

Take for example, ‘Cyclone Gaja’ which destroyed 11 districts in Tamil Nadu. This disaster ruined normal life. Seeing the total damage caused by the cyclone which left as many people in danger zone, the South Indian actor Vishal made said he would adopt the village and had also promised to restore it back to normal. He took to Twitter to tell this to his fans.

Vishal, who is also the President of Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council and Secretary of Nadigar Sangam, has adopted an entire village Karagavayal. It is located near Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu), village Karagavayal was massively hit by ‘Cyclone Gaja’. It has been said that the village was worst affected regions of the vicinity.

Vishal has adopted the village and has committed hat he would restore it. He took to his Twitter platform to say, “This village is mine. #kaarkavaiyaI Thanjavur district. I swear I will bring back this village to normality and this will be my responsibility forever. Model village on the way. i Luv u group #socialarchitects to help me achieve this.god bless.”
