Disgusting! Man kills a 3 day old baby girl, because he was angry after 6th daughter

‘Cruelty beyond imagination’. A man killed his three-day-old baby girl by stabbing her multiple times in the upper abdominal region, a scenario that is unimaginable even to the doctors who found this case totally difficult. We don’t have any idea why a father can do such a weird thing to his own daughter. It gives shivers to everyone. Maybe he expected a baby boy.

The 36-year-old man, identified as Vishnu Kanuji Rathod is a farm labourer. He and his wife have five daughters and he was so annoyed that when his wife had given birth to their sixth girl child. Knowing this, he stabbed their three-day-old daughter at his home at Moti Masang village in Dehgam taluka of Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Sunday. What did this poor little soul do? The infant was not yet named and was killed mercilessly.

“The complainant is the girl’s mother, Vimla,” said deputy superintendent of police, Gandhinagar, Vijay Patel. “Vishnu stabbed the baby so viciously that her internal organs spilled out of her body.”

The murder took place when Vishnu was alone with the baby girl. When his wife saw him running fast out of the house, she doubted him. She along with relatives caught him and later found the baby in a pool of blood. “Vimla took the baby to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital from where she was moved to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, said police sub-inspector of Dehgam, V B Desai who was quoted as saying TOI. “The baby underwent surgeries, but did not survive.”

A source at Civil Hospital in Asarwa area of Ahmedabad said, “The girl was stabbed multiple times in her upper abdominal area.” The source said the baby’s liver, intestines and pancreas had shot out of her body. “It was the most gruesome and difficult case for doctors,” he said.

“We had placed her organs back inside her body and operated her. But she suffered three cardiac arrests during the surgery. After each cardiac arrest, she was revived but her life was ebbing away. She died despite being kept on ventilator,” Dr Rakesh Joshi, the head of the paediatric department at Civil Hospital said.
