Mumbai: Boney Kapoor, a member of a prominent Bollywood family, has opened up about her daughter Janhvi Kapoor and son Arjun Kapoor’s dating life. In an exclusive interview, Boney Kapoor admitted that today’s generation has a different mindset and at times, he has been ‘displeased’ with the ‘relationship’ of his kids- Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor.
Boney talks about Arjun, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi’s dating choices. “This is their personal life,” he said. I can only speak to them once or twice and share my opinion. But the thing is that today’s kids mature much faster than our generation. You cannot force them to act or think in your way. They have a mind of their own. Today the world has shrunk, which was not the case in our times. We took our time to understand how the world works. It is easy for them to form their own opinions.”
Boney Kapoor said, “There was never a situation when I had to put anything in his mind. Having said that, I am angry at certain situations in Arjun, Janhvi, and Khushi’s relationships, but I have asked them to handle it themselves. It’s always been that way.”
Arjun reportedly started dating Malaika Arora in 2018. In the last season of Koffee with Karan, Janhvi had confirmed that she was in a relationship with Shikhar Pahadia. The same episode also addressed link-up rumors about Khushi Kapoor and her The Archies co-actor Vedang Raina. Anshula Kapoor made her relationship with screenwriter Rohan Thakkar official on Instagram.
Boney Kapoor is an Indian film producer. He is one of the big producers of Bollywood and has been a part of blockbuster films like Mr. India, No Entry, Judaai, and Wanted. He is the older brother of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. He has also received many awards. Boney was married to Mona Shourie Kapoor with whom he has two children – Arjun Kapoor and Anshula. Arjun made his tremendous debut with the 2012 hit film Ishaqzaade while Anshula is currently working with Google after graduating from Columbia University. On June 2, 1996, Boney married Indian actress Sridevi. They both have two daughters-Janvi and Khushi.
