Bareilly (UP): Muslim juice seller Faizal mixes meat with ice, sells to Hindu devotees

A disturbing incident has surfaced in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, with a video gaining widespread attention on social media. The summer season sees a surge in the demand for sugarcane juice and other fruit juices, enjoyed by many. It is common for people, even in the Hindu community, to consume juices during fasting. However, a video going viral raises concerns. In the footage, a juice vendor, who is Muslim, is seen mixing meat with ice and serving it to a customer from the Hindu community. Caution is advised after witnessing this shocking incident.

The individual implicated in the viral video has been recognized as Faizal. Situated at the Selection Point intersection in Bareilly, Faizal operates a prominent juice shop along with several others. Following his apprehension, Faizal was revealed to have allegedly served people a concoction of juice mixed with meat, terming it as “fasting juice.” The video showcases meat pieces placed near the ice in the shop.

The viral video is quite shocking and it is a serious crime to exploit someone’s faith. Stringent measures must be implemented against him; otherwise, numerous individuals accused of similar actions may exploit the religious sentiments of many by resorting to deceitful practices like this.
