You can now remove scooter from a tempo and rides it through city

One of the most interesting vehicles showcased at Hero World 2024 was the whacky Surge S32. Surge is a startup completely owned by Hero MotoCorp, and it has been developing for the last few years a new and unique vehicle that can switch between a two-wheeler scooter and a three-wheeler auto. According to the company, the unique three-wheeler cum scooter has been produced for self-employed people, offering them the flexibility of both an electric rickshaw and an electric scooter within the same vehicle.

RPG Group Chairman Harsh Goenka has shared the video of this product on Instagram. Hero MotoCorp’s Surge S32 is designed for self-employed individuals. The Surge S32 is a two-in-one convertible electric vehicle (EV). Inspired by the concept of large vehicles with detachable 2-wheelers, reminiscent of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight, the Surge S32 brings this fantasy to life, albeit as a fully modular vehicle designed for real-world warriors.

At first glance, the Surge S32 looks like a conventional 3W electric cargo vehicle or rickshaw, with a front passenger cabin equipped with essential features like windscreen, headlights, turn indicators, and windscreen wipers. Although doors were initially lacking, Surge will likely introduce removable and zippered soft doors for weather protection.

At the press of a button, the front windshield section lifts up vertically, revealing the electric scooter inside. The cabin of the 3W vehicle has been altered by deploying a spring-loaded double-stand mechanism. The electric scooter, now freed from the cabin of the 3W vehicle, features its LED headlights, turn indicators, speedo, and switchgear.

The performance of Surge S32 is carving a unique niche among all the new thoughtful and latest vehicles at Hero World 2024. This is not only an important step for a startup but also represents a new and improved level of innovation in the automobile industry.
