China was behind the murder of Khalistani, wanted to isolate India in foreign policies

Allegations of a conspiracy involving China against India have surfaced, accusing China of trying to incite Khalistani separatists in India and eliminate their leaders. Jennifer Zeng, an independent blogger and Chinese-born rights activist residing in the US, has claimed that Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents were involved in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a designated terrorist, in Canada on June 18, 2023.

According to Zeng, the CCP’s motive was to create discord between India and Western nations as part of their “Ignition Plan,” aligning with Xi Jinping’s military strategy regarding Taiwan. Zeng credited these allegations to Chinese author and YouTuber Lao Deng, now living in Canada, who stated that a high-ranking CCP official visited Seattle, USA, for a secret meeting to damage India-West relations. The alleged CCP agents meticulously executed Nijjar’s assassination, destroying evidence afterward.

The conspiracy involved agents speaking English with an Indian accent to implicate India further, according to Zeng. He claimed that the CCP’s “Ignition Plan” was formulated after two CCP sessions earlier that year.

There has been no response from the Chinese Foreign Ministry to these allegations. Diplomatic tensions between India and Canada escalated when the Canadian government expelled a senior Indian diplomat, accusing India of involvement in Nijjar’s killing. In retaliation, India denied any involvement and expelled a Canadian diplomat. India has strongly rejected the claims as absurd.

India has called for parity in the number of Canadian diplomats in India due to the high Canadian diplomatic presence, and discussions are ongoing to achieve this. The situation remains tense, with both nations seeking resolution amid these serious allegations.

The allegations made by Jennifer Zeng and attributed to Lao Deng regarding a Chinese conspiracy against India have indeed added complexity to regional international relations. The situation has strained diplomatic ties between India and Canada, creating a need for careful investigation and diplomacy to address the serious accusations and ensure stability in the region. These allegations demand thorough investigation and responsible diplomacy for regional stability.
