Who is Viral IPS Abhishek Pallava of Durg, here’s his quick life story

IPS Abhishek Pallava has become a prominent figure in the headlines and on social media due to his unique style, amassing a significant fan following across the country. Even Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his admiration for him during a recent meeting, where IPS Abhishek Pallava was also present.

Remarkably, even inside the confines of a jail, IPS Abhishek Pallava has managed to cultivate a significant fan following. During a press conference, in the presence of IPS Abhishek Pallava, a thief openly admitted to being one of his admirers. Abhishek Pallav’s educational journey includes completing his 10th grade in 1997 from Kendriya Vidyalaya Vasco Goa, followed by 12th grade from the same school in 1999. He pursued MBBS at Government Medical College Goa and then specialized in MD Psychiatry at AIIMS, Delhi. After working at two different hospitals between 2010 and 2013, he appeared for the UPSC exam in 2012 and secured the 261st rank, subsequently joining the IPS with the Chhattisgarh cadre.

Born in Begusarai, Bihar, Abhishek Pallav was posted in Bator SDOP Pithora and Mahasamund from September 2015 to May 2016. Then served as SP of Dantewada from June 2016 to December 2017. In October 2018, while being ASP of Dantewada, a video of Abhishek Pallav went viral on social media, Naxalite attack took place. A DD cameraman had died along with two jawans. Abhishek Pallav could not contain his pain while taking pictures of the incident. He told his whole story while crying.

Abhishek Pallav’s home state is Uttar Pradesh but this emotional video is from when he used to be the SP of Dantewada. While performing different responsibilities, he is handling the responsibilities of the SP. In April 2022, he was entrusted with the law and order of the fort. The anti-Naxal operation was conducted in Dantewada in September 2021. Abhishek Pallav was awarded the Police Medal for this bravery.
