Nadir Burjorji Godrej is the Managing Director and Chairman of Godrej Industries, a business tycoon. Nadir Godrej is a chemical engineer and also serves as the Chairman of Godrej Agrovet, the agricultural business unit of Godrej.

Adi Godrej’s elder sibling is Nadir Godrej. Financial Express and the family’s father both claim that he is the owner of 20% of the Godrej Group’s equity. Uncle of Nadir Godrej and founder of the Godrej Group of Industries, Burjorji Ardeshir Godrej.

Nadir Godrej decided to transfer from IIT Bombay to MIT to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering after a year of study at Harvard Business School, he earned his master’s degree in business administration.

At Stanford University, Nadir Godrej earned his advanced degree. Forbes evaluates that Nadir Godrej has a total net income of $2.9 billion. For the Tata Group firms Mahindra & Mahindra and Indian Hotels, he has held the non-executive director position.

Also, he acquired the Porter reward in 2013 for originating shared values at Godrej Industries Limited. On April 1, 2016, at their 16th-anniversary jubilee, the All-India Liquid Bulk Importers and Exporters Association (AILBIEA) rewarded Godrej with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Recently, the Management Board of Manipal University conferred upon Mr. Godrej the honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy unanimously. And a few months ago, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).
