Vivek Oberoi wishes speedy recovery to Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh, Abhishek and other family members

Amid the worldwide panic over the novel coronavirus, Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been tested positive for Covid 19. He has been kept under medical observation at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

The news of the Bachchan family being infected from COVID-19 has sent shockwaves throughout the country. Shockingly, Amitabh Bachchan developed mild symptoms. However, he remains in good health. His son and actor Abhishek has also been tested positive for the virus. The cause of infection is yet to be ascertained from whom the actor caught the virus.

On Sunday, it came to light that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya have also been infected with the coronavirus. This news left everyone in shock. 

Soon Bollywood stars and fans from all over the country and the world started sending get well soon wishes for them. Vivek Oberoi was among the many Bollywood celebrities to wish the Bachchan family a speedy recovery.

Taking to Twitter, Vivek wrote, “Our prayers for the well being and quick recovery of the family.” In a separate tweet, he tweeted about Amitabh and Abhishek too, who were diagnosed first on Saturday. “Wishing @SrBachchan sir & @juniorbachchan a speedy recovery. We’re all praying for you! Get well super soon! Take care,” he wrote.

Vivek and Aishwarya were seen together in “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na” film, which also starred Amitabh. They also dated in real life around the same time.

Informing everyone about Aishwarya and Aaradhya being infected with COVID-19, Abhishek wrote, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers ??”

Previously, informing about his health Abhishek wrote, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”

Big B on late Sunday thanked everyone for their support and wrote, “… to them that have expressed their concern, their prayers and their wishes for Abhishek Aishwarya Aaradhya and me .. my unending gratitude and love ..I put my hands together and say thank you.”

By far, the virus has affected over 13.3 million people globally and the global death toll has risen to at least 578,235. Thankfully, 7.7 million people have recovered from the deadly outbreak.

In India alone, the confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have surpassed 9.3 lakh, while 24,315 people have died in the country from the infection.
