Husband kills wife due to her social media addiction, then chokes baby to death

In shocking news, Bengaluru resident took an extreme step by killing his wife as well as his three-month-old baby and hurl the both dead bodies in a bush. According to Times of India, SK Raju who met his wife Sushma through Facebook platform two years ago, reportedly murdered her and their baby because of her severe addiction to social media.

The couple Raju and Sushma, in the beginning, started messaging each other through their Facebook accounts and in the process, they started falling in love with each other. Since Sushma got pregnant even before marriage, they planned to marry and then had a three-month-old baby boy.

However, Raju was reportedly unhappy with Sushma since she more often spent her time chatting with unknown people on social media and was addicted to her smartphone. Due to this very same reason, the couple frequently fought and since Raju felt that she did not take care of the baby as well as the home because of her increased addiction.

During the probe, Raju informed the Police officials that two weeks ago, he took his wife and baby to a eucalyptus orchard near Kumbalgodu forest road. It was here that he assaulted Sushma repeatedly and then struck her head with a stone. He then poured petrol all over her body and set it on fire. Not just that, Raju choked the baby to death and then threw the bodies away in the bush.

While the weirdest incident happened on January 19, it only came to view after Sushma’s mother registered a missing complaint regarding her daughter and the baby in the Madanayakanahalli police station.

Raju allegedly admitted to his crime and the cops found the burnt body of Sushma but still hasn’t recovered the baby’s body. Further investigation is awaited.
