What is the exact feeling of an athlete when he wins a gold medal? It’s indeed an amazing feeling that is one to remember, relish and rejoice the lovely moments. Once you reap rewards for the amount of hard work you put,  it’s totally a different feeling altogether.

Hearty Congratulations to our Indian athlete, Arpinder Singh for winning the gold medal for India in Triple Jump event with a jump of 16.77m at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia. It was after 48 years, an Indian athlete bagged the gold medal in this event.

The fans couldn’t have asked for a better performance from him who only thought of giving absolutely everything for the nation and eventually, things turned out to be a sensational one.

Arpinder hasn’t won a medal in multi-sporting events since clinching a bronze in the 2014 Commonwealth Games when his personal best jump recorded 16.77m, as his best shot came in his third attempt.

India’s last Asian Games gold medal when it comes to men’s triple jump was in 1970 from Mohinder Singh Gill. It was glad that Arpinder Singh proved he is worth the weight in gold to clinch the medal our country needed in the Asian Games. The Youth wishes Arpinder Singh a good luck for his future endeavours!
