Asian Games 2018: After Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu sails into the quarter-finals

After Saina Nehwal, it was PV Sindhu’s turn to reach the Badminton women’s singles quarterfinals of the 2018 Asian Games at Jakarta in Indonesia. We all know about Sindhu’s tactics. PV Sindhu was Bold, brilliant and stormed across the badminton court at a blistering pace.

She shimmied down the track and made some terrifying smashes only to outsmart the opponent with ease. Much to her concrete determination and winning mentality, she is now into the quarter-finals. It would be quite interesting to see how PV Sindhu approaches in the tougher challenges to come.

PV Sindhu trounced Indonesia’s Gregoria Mariska Tunjung 21-12, 21-15 in straight sets to show her dominance. What really matters is that Sindhu won against the opponent that had enormous crowd support.
