With so many improvements in the build-up to Indian Football, the question arises about India’s chances of qualifying for the next World Cup tournament that is scheduled to be held in Qatar in 2022. It is true to the fact that the chances are very low and the nation’s participation in the next World Cup looks far from reality.

But don’t write off the Indian team too early. There are more chances of India qualifying for the 2026 World Cup tournament as FIFA expands qualified teams from 32 to 48 teams. This means India can now breath a sigh of relief after FIFA’s new rule.

Our Indian players are giving absolutely everything to entertain the fans at the edge of their seats. Let’s back the team even in tough times too and that’s the sign of loyal fanbase. Indian football evolution had already begun and it will be quite interesting to see how the players go about their business in the matches to come.
