Mumbai’s iconic railway station dazzles in tri-colour, captures people’s attention

Just minutes ahead of India’s 72nd Independence Day, the ever so famous Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai has been sparkling in the tri-colour, which took the whole country people by a huge surprise. It was good to see this coming ahead of the auspicious day.

The station is also called Victoria Terminus which has been highlighting in an epic way to celebrate the day when India gained Independence from the British rule back in the year 1947. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation from the Red Fort on August 15.

Talking about the details of our national flag that has four colours namely- Saffron, White, Green and Navy blue. Each colour signifies a particular message. Navy blue wheel with 24 spokes is Dharma Chakra while the saffron colour stands for courage, sacrifice and the spirit of renunciation. The white colour signifies purity and truth whereas the green stripe stands for faith and fertility.
