According to online sources, Anjali shared her feeling of deep gratitude for the opportunity to play the character of Sita. She explained her initial curiosity about securing the role, saying that she was informed by the director about competing with several other actors. Despite the competition, she was eventually selected for the role by the filmmakers.

Anjali also mentioned her proactive approach to preparing for the character since she was finalized for the role last month, which included watching videos and actively participating in workshops. In interviews, she said, “I believe he saw something in me that convinced him that I could honor the role. I was finalized last month, and since then, I have been watching videos, reading, and attending workshops. My goal is to honor the character to the best of my ability.

Anjali Arora acknowledged that her depiction of Sita, taking inspiration from Hindu mythology, would inevitably draw comparisons to Sai Pallavi’s portrayal in the Ramayana. Nonetheless, she expressed contentment in being measured against a seasoned actress, stating, “I’d be pleased to be compared with any Bollywood actress.”
