Sudha Murty’s daughter explains the two qualities why she fell in love with PM Rishi Sunak

The interview with Akshata Murty, the daughter of Sudha Murty, has been making the rounds on social media. Akshata delves into the complexities of her marriage to Rishi Sunak in the video. During their conversation, she highlights two characteristics in Rishi Sunak that profoundly resonate with her.

The viral video has been shared by Brutindia. Akshata Murty says, ‘Rishi and I met when we were 24 years old. When both of us were studying abroad in America. Right from the beginning, two things impressed me about him. No, not his smart suits or his love of hoodies. At that time he had neither of them.

She adds, ‘But two more important things. His deep love for his home, the United Kingdom, and his sincere desire to ensure that as many people as possible had the opportunities he was fortunate enough to have. Meeting Rishi almost 20 years ago was not an easy path. In our early days, this meant a complicated long-distance relationship. But on the other hand, let me tell you that living with Rishi was the easiest decision of my life.’
