Delhi: Mohd Miraj and Mohd Asif dragged a Hindu man by car on Highway, he died in pain

According to an ANI report, Special Commissioner of Police (L&O) Sagar Preet Hooda said that during preliminary interrogation, the accused revealed that they boarded the taxi as passengers and, after some time threatened the taxi driver with the intention of robbing the vehicle and stealing the car. A viral video depicting a disturbing incident has captured the attention of the Delhi Police. The video in question shows a man being pulled alongside a car on National Highway-8 near Mahipalpur, located in Delhi. In response to this troubling event, law enforcement authorities have identified the deceased individual as Bijender, a resident hailing from Faridabad, Haryana.

Detailing the circumstances of the case, the police disclosed that on the night of October 10, at approximately 11:20 pm, the Vasant Kunj North Police Station received a PCR call reporting the discovery of an unidentified male body exhibiting signs of injuries near the service road of NH8.

The police swiftly arrived at the scene and found the deceased person’s body. Subsequent investigation revealed that the victim was a 43-year-old taxi driver named Bijender, hailing from Faridabad. Consequently, the police filed a case under IPC sections 302 and 201 at Vasant Kunj North police station.

According to reports, Bijender was driving his taxi Swift Dezire in the Mahipalpur area when robbers tried to steal his car. Bijender had last called his wife at around 7:30 p.m. and said that he was taking the first passengers of the evening. Both the accused, Mehraj and Asif, are history sheeters, and about 15 cases are registered against them. Mehraj and Asif, posing as passengers, had boarded Bijender’s cab in Saket and attacked him near the Delhi Cantonment area.
