Vivek Agnihotri reacts to User who tells him to ‘make The Manipur Files if you are man enough’

Recently, a disturbing video featuring two women from Manipur spread like wildfire on social media portals. According to the clip, two women were stripped, paraded naked and attacked, which left the entire nation in shock.

This shocking incident happened on May 4 in Kangpokpi district, just a day after violence erupted suddenly in the northeast state. In the wake of the shocking incident, several Bollywood celebrities took to their respective social media handles and expressed their anger at the disturbing video after it surfaced on social media.

“All three women were physically forced to remove their clothes and were stripped naked in front of the mob,” the FIR stated.

As per the complaint, the mob first murdered a man, and later forced two women to strip naked. The 19-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped, and her brother was murdered when he tried to intervene.

What’s really been happening in Manipur? Major violence broke out in Manipur in the last two months. It all started on May 3 in Churachandpur town of the state after “Kuki groups” demanded protests against a proposal to grant scheduled tribe status to the Meitei community of the state.

It further triggered clashes among the groups in the northeast Indian state, claiming over 150 lives and leaving as many as 50,000 people injured.
