Adnan Sami takes a swipe at AP CM’s RRR congratulatory tweet

Not long ago, RRR bagged the Golden Globes Award 2023 in the Best Original Song category for ‘Naatu Naatu’. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the Magnum Opus stars Ram Charan Teja, NTR Jr., Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, M.M. Keeravaani has brought the spotlight back to the country after a historical Oscar musical win. For the record, the legendary music composer Keeravaani won best original song for his energetic anthem “Naatu Naatu” from the film “RRR.”

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to his official Twitter handle and posted a congratulatory tweet by wishing RRR on their success.

“The #Telugu flag is flying higher! I’m filled with pride on a Telugu song, that so beautifully celebrates our folk heritage, being given its due recognition internationally today. @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and @mmkeeravaani have truly redefined excellence! Meanwhile, Adnan Sami, the musician expressed his displeasure over the AP CM’s tweet and accused him creating a “regional divide” in the country. Mr Sami tweeted, “What a regional minded frog in a pond who can’t think about the ocean because it’s beyond his tiny nose!! Shame on you for creating regional divides & unable to embrace or preach national pride! Jai HIND!!”
