Railways responds after Passenger shares pic of ‘Dusty Cornflakes’ served On Vande Bharat Train, read details

Railways are the second fastest mode of transport. It is also the most dependable mode of transport. Indian Railways manages the fourth-largest railway network in the world. It is well-known for its quality service and low cost.

Due to this benefit, millions of people use it to travel daily. The ever-so ambitious Indian Railways has been planning something bigger than ever before as it is aiming to become the world’s first 100 per cent ‘green railways’!

For the unversed, the Indian Railways is the world’s eighth-largest employer with a total of 1.4 million employees. The oldest working Indian locomotive that is still in operation is the Fairy Queen, which worked with a steam engine. The first Indian locomotive was built in 1855. 

Indian Railways have 5 luxury trains namely Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Palace on Wheels (Rajasthan), The Golden Chariot (Karnataka and Goa), The Maharajas’ Express (begins in Delhi but the itinerary differs) and The Deccan Odyssey (begins in Maharashtra but itinerary differs)

Meanwhile, T18 (Train 18) also known as Vande Bharat Express has been the latest addition in Indian Railways. The train made the headlines for a wrong reason after a passenger shared a picture of “Dusty cornflakes” served on the train.

First, he wrote, “Travelling by Magnificat Vande Bharat express to Shirdi.Few problem that can be improved1) Executive Class is given in middle of train, hence other class people keep moving continuously and there is no privacy even after paying more. EC should be at front or back of train.”

“Since the flooring is carpet now, Dyson Vacuum cleaners should be provided instead of traditional method of sweeping the floor. @Central_Railway @RailMinIndia @AshwiniVaishnaw @GM_CRly Also the food quality can be improved, no1 prefers dusty cornflakes in India,” he wrote.
