Rohan Bopanna is a popular Indian professional tennis player and his singles career-high ranking was world No. 213 in the year 2007. On the other side of the coin, his career-high ranking in doubles was world No. 3 in 2013.
For the unversed, he has been a member of the Indian Davis Cup team since 2002. He also partnered with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in doubles in 2007.
He has won 4 Masters 1000 men’s doubles tournaments namely the 2011 and 2012 Paris Masters, the 2015 Madrid Open, and the 2017 Monte Carlo Masters.
The 42-year-old was a finalist at the ATP World Tour Finals in 2012 and 2015. He also won the 2017 French Open mixed-doubles title with Gabriela Dabrowski and thus becoming the fourth Indian player to win a Grand Slam title.

Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna’s wife marked her presence at the Melbourne Park as the veteran tennis star paired with Sania Mirza in the final of the Australian Open mixed doubles event.
After the match, a fan took to his Twitter handle and then labelled Rohan Bopanna’s wife as the “most beautiful woman”. Replying to the viral tweet, Bopanna said: “I agree”.
“If I cry, these are happy tears. That’s just a disclaimer. I’m still going to play a couple of more tournaments but my journey of my professional career started in Melbourne,” an emotional Sania added as she struggled to hold back tear after finishing as the runners-up in the mixed Australian open final.
“Rohan was my first-ever mixed doubles partner when I was 14 and we won the nationals, it was 22 year ago and I couldn’t think of a better person, he’s my best friend and one of my best partners to finish my career,” Sania said.
