As per media outlets, he reportedly charges Rs 7 Lakhs per episode as his salary. Amit Jain had replaced Ashneer in Shark Tank India season 2.
Amit Jain was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 12th November 1976. Notably, he is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. In 2000, he had joined the software development company Trilogy and plied his trade there for 1 year.
In 2006, he and his brother went on to launch a software outsourcing company, GirnarSoft and the idea of CarDekho transpired to the brother in 2008 after he visited Auto Expo in New Delhi.
Today, Amit Jain went on to become one most successful entrepreneurs in the country. He has now set to assist contestants of Shark Tank India Season 2 in accomplishing their goals.
