The couple fell in love during the shooting of their movie Hulchul and later tied the knot in 1999. Both have worked in Bollywood for over two decades, Ajay still appears in movies while Kajol has taken a break from the movies. In 2019, he was named to Forbes India’s celebrity 100 list, coming in at number 12 on the list. Meanwhile, Kajol chipped in with an epic reply when she was asked “Would you marry Shah Rukh Khan”.
The question caught the attention of the actress as she decided to give an epic reply. During the Ask Me Anything’ interaction on Instagram, one of her fans asked Kajol if she would have married Shah Rukh Khan had she not met Ajay Devgn.
To which, Kajol questioned, “Isn’t the man supposed to be proposing?”

During an old interview, the actor had once opened up about magazines sensationalizing pictures and linking co-stars with him despite his age with him.
Talking specifically about his rumoured link-ups with his ‘Baazigar’ co-star Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Deepa Sahi and more, Shah Rukh Khan labelled such stories disgusting and said, “Kajol & me? Come on, she’s just a child, Aunt Tanuja’s daughter, my little sister. Even Gauri likes them.”
According to a Reddit post, he further said, “I work with Juhi, Madhuri, Manisha, Shilpa, Sonali, Nagma, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Urmila…I didn’t go to bed with them; I didn’t go to bed with Kajol.”
SRK further said that if he ever has to have an affair, he would keep it private. “If… just if… I really have an affair with anyone, nobody will find out, I’m too smart, too good an actor to let the world know what’s going on. Meanwhile, enough of this nonsense! I stopped signing films with Juhi when this story came out.
“I will stop making films with Kajol if these rumours continue. That would be a shame because she’s a fabulous actress.
