“Arnab will be trapped and commit suicide,” says Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik

Republic Media Network has unearthed a shocking conspiracy to target Arnab Goswami in a sting operation on Nawab Malik, sitting Maharashtra minister, and NCP leader.

In the explosive sting operation conducted by Republic TV, Nawab Malik, a close aide of Sharad Pawar has been caught predicting that the Republic News Channel’s Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami will commit suicide after being frustrated over so many cases against him.

Another sting operation had a Congress leader reveal that the Maharashtra government, especially CM Uddhav Thackeray is upset with Republic TV and Arnab and a team with a top IAS and IPS officer has been formed to explore ways to bring the Republic TV down. The Congress leader had also revealed that NCP chief Sharad Pawar is behind all this.

“He is stuck in the TRP thing now. Let me tell you clear cut. He will get trapped. I am telling you clear cut,” says Nawab Malik in the sting almost predicting the course of the investigation by the Mumbai Police and hinting that everything so far is pre-planned. “The thing is that man will get a lot of problems. I am scared that what if he goes into…a zone himself. This is madness. It becomes a phobia. It gets created after a point of time,” he added.

Malik adds “He (Arnab Goswami) is driving himself mad. I am scared what if he commits suicide. What is happening is, the path he has taken, he sits inside (the studio) and is self-imposed. He thinks that the world works like this only and suddenly when he gets to know that there is nothing and everything is fake, then a person can do anything, right? He thinks that the whole system should work the way his mind wants and that he can do everything and anything but when it does not happen, the person goes into a different zone, right?”

Earlier, Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh made false allegations against Republic TV stating that the channel was involved in manipulating TV viewership data. However, the Republic News Channel’s Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami strongly denied the allegations and directed his legal team Phoenix Legal to initiate the proceedings to sue Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh for Rs 200 crore damages.

Contradicting Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh’s claims, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, representing the state government said that Republic TV is not named in the FIR in the TRP scam case. The Mumbai police seemed to distance itself from the allegations made by the Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh.
